We have had Roddy and Woody now since 2007 and on Saturday they were joined by Katy. The 2 boys had started to get a bit lazy and so we decided to get them a younger girl friend plus we are getting a new car that has a bit more room in the boot.
I predict in a few weeks the boys will be a lot fitter as they are now racing round like they did when they were Katy's age, they don't get a lot of choice.
;D ;D Isnt she just ace? Bonkers but ace! You forget how little she is as the boys are not that big but she looks so so so teeny next to them. Thank you for having her you two. She deserved a very special home who had already been through bonkers pond diving, trampoline bouncing boys and she got it
"There's nothing that can't be done if we raise our voice as one."
Katy also now known as the wicked whippet is settling in well. She has found all sorts of things tod. She likes trampolining, she likes trying to fit Roddy and Woddy's heads in her mouth, she likes next doors gease, chickens and ducks so we have had a newfence. We thought Roddy was good at thieving having in the past stolen a joint of beef, a sheperds pie for 20 people and all the treats in the treat cupboard. Here is a picture of katy today having jumped onto the counter without making any noise and polished off a cassarole that irene was making. The counter is higher than normal because we are tall and Irene was in the kitchen with her back to Katy making a cup of tea when she did it and heard nothing.
LOL. You'll have to put a bell on her collar, so you can hear what she's up to.
Thanks for the updates
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true. To the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
Boys seem to be coping well they are fitter than they were a month ago which is what we had hoped and race round the field with Katy everyday. Katy has got a lot more muscled and is very fast and agile so the boys have to take it in turns so that when one is knackered the other takes over. They both seem to accept that they have to be chewed thoroughly by Katy every day and behave themselves in the car and not make a fuss. So it has worked out very well.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x
