You could squish it out abit with a big soft toy, or shredded paper to give it some substance IYKWIM. Basically line the bottom padded deep and then put stuff on the top so it's sitting half in half out IYKWIM.
You could go to your nearset Lush and see what goodies they will give you, stick a teddy in the middle surrounded by smellies and the cello wrap and finish with a bow? Or have I just got a little over enthusiastic
Life's not about waiting for the storm to stop, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
Thanks everyone, so many good suggestions i wish i had more baskets ;D
I'm going to stick with baskets of my own grown fruit and veg on a bed of straw - with perhaps a specimen plant thrown in too -mainly because i will already have all those things here at home. (and our damsons/plums/apples etc always get snapped up at the shows)
I will have to aim for the September show for the fruit to be ready and i wouldn't have much veg in May either, so i'm afraid it will be rather a long wait
Jackie - i'll make sure you get 1st pick on the day
Wanda - thanks for the offer, but i can use my own straw
i used to go round car boot sales and buy these for coppers and also buy nearly new cuddly toys(pref bunnies) then at easter id fill them with shredded tissue put some cheap hollow chocolate eggs in them and a cuddly furry toy usually a bunny and wrap them up in cellophane and top with a huge bow and i used to get really really good prices for them and had orders for loads more too!

missfleur2003: Hello. I am new to this site and noticed that the posts for available dogs seem to be quite old. Some seem to be years old. Are the dogs shown still available.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x

steeveet: Hi there, just had our home inspection by a lovely lady with her Greyhound Arthur, who I could have happily snaffled as he was sweet and at home with our girl Belle. Does anyone here know how we now get to meet any of the dogs who need a home?
