I don't know if I'm allowed to do this ,but this little pup is tugging at my heart- strings. Can someone do a link to the Mayflower sanctuary in Doncaster who have a 5 month old grey cross pup with hideously deformed front legs. They are doing an appeal to raise funds for surgery for her and her recovery will be a long haul. Thanks again.

Poor girl. It looks like it could be rickets or similar - didn't we have a boy and girl pup similar to this not long back? I'm useless on names, but I'm sure splints and bandages and plenty of the right food and tlc from Lisa and Trish put them on the right road. Hopefully the same will be enough for this pup.

I thought the same Kay, they ended up not needing an op didnt they? Poor little dog, how can someone neglect a pup in such need of attention Sue

Her legs are the same as Willies his might have been a bit more bent and he was walking over on his knuckles. He thankfully didnt need an operation as we used the Richard Jones bandaging technique and it was amazing how quickly they rectified probably after about 10 days. His legs were as good as new. I hope they can do this for this little girl.

Hi Lisa and thanks for allowing me to put this on your website. If you have experience caring for a pup with similar probs would it be O.K for me to suggest they contact you for advice re: her care, particularly if it prevents her needing surgery. It would be better for her if it could be treated without the need for an op. Thanks again.
