Well, I've been putting it off for years, so after thinking long and hard I decided that if I won't do it for myself then I must really need an incentive . . . and this is it! 
Starting Monday, my Mum has offered £2 per lb lost and my sister £1 per lb lost. ;D ;D ;D I'll add £1 per lb in any week that I gain rather than lose weight (but I don't intend to shell-out a penny!). Steve is official weigher / sniggerer / chocolate biscuit hider.
I'll add a thread in the results section and update it weekly, though I'm not sure whether I'll be revealing my starting weight for public scrutiny!
