Havent got time to search and wondered if anyone can nosey around and get hold of a contact email for him or the group? I know that Alex owns a VERY beautiful blue whippet and I would like to see if he was happy to give our campaign the thumbs up even if its only a few words!

Jenny Seagrove ? She's an animal rights campaigner. She was on Celebrity Cash in the Attic raising money for the Born Free Foundation, and sold amongst other things two small ornaments of greyhounds. Has two dogs, one of which is I believe a rescue, not sure about the other one. Her dogs accompany her everywhere so I understand. Can't find a contact address for her, although Everton Football Club might be a good route to try as Bill Kenwright is her significant other. Agent's details are - Company MARMONT MANAGEMENT LTD Address Langham House 308 Regent Street City LONDON County/State Postcode/ZIP W1R 5AL Country Great Britain Website www.marmont.co.uk Contact Penny Wesson Job Title Phone 02076373183 Fax 02073234798 Mobile Email penrose@marmont.co.uk Agent Type Agent - Celebrity

How about contacting Crowded House, the Australian band. I know they support greyhound welfare. Perhaps they could either donate some stuff to auction, or just give some money. I have spent all morning trying to find contact details for them, but to no avail. If someone knows how to get hold of them could they post please.

Is there a standard letter? I am happy to help sending letters out etc, but don't want to annoy anyone by sending them a letter when they already have one! Also are we contacting any local non related companies? Large companies (banks are good cos they have such a poor public image ) usually have targets for charitable donations and local good works. I have found that it helps to state the full amount needed eg to say we need £500k to buy and re-rurbish the facilities we need, for some reason they seem to like to feel they gave a %! Again, I am happy to do anything that needs doing (and will have time after next friday )

Have emailed via the cheese website thanks Martin suppose that is cheese in itself If people keep giving me the email address's I am happy to contact myself as I know what I want to say about this wonderful organisation and the wonderful people involved and not least the wonderful dogs. I emailed Uri Geller last night and he has been amazing. Sent me his contact numbers and we have chatted twice today. He is happy to give us a few words and his blessing and also a donation to auction. ;D He was a lovely lovely man who spoken about his greyhound Barney with affection and was so sweet and gentle with me. I cant thank him enough he could have just refused but he was so so lovely.

Have emailed via the cheese website thanks Martin suppose that is cheese in itself I wouldn't use too many cheese jokes, it will begin to grate after a while! I know Blur use a lot of greyhound on the album cover art and advertising, so might even be worth getting Damon's contact. I'll see what I can come up with contact wise.

I've been snooping around the net trying to find other famous owners. I don't have contact details for any of them though.
I believe Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones has rescued greyhounds.
An actress called Charlotte Cornwell campaigns for greyhounds along with Annette Crosbie. She is also the half sister of the novelist John Le Carre. She set up a group called Greyhounds UK.
Jilly Cooper has a rescued greyhound.
Sarah Doukas who founded Storm modelling agency and discovered Kate Moss rehomed Kate's whippet when Kate could no longer look after it, so the two of them may be interested in helping too.

Once our photomontage site is up & running we want to get some pics of famous people's hounds, to help with promotion of the project, so Lisa when you get in touch with these folk perhaps you could ask them for an image of their hound that we could use with their blessing? And of course a quid to pay for it the same as us 'regulars' would be wonderful... but don't want to push our luck! We'll be generous & give them a free 'square'..
