Cromwell will have been with me one month on Saturday. He has settled in very well, though he and the cat Kitz, are still trying to sort out the pecking order. The first week, Kitz was winning, but then Cromwell chased him out the kitchen when he pushed it to far, so it is a draw at the moment. We had a landmark yesterday, when we attended our first Dog Training evening. There were over 20 dogs in the room when we walked in! He 'grummelled' at a couple then gave up,; there were too many. The class was a cross between Showing techniques and Socialisation, but he did very well, walking the carpet at my side, and even weaving in and out the other dogs. Well done Cromwell.

Cromwell does not like the wind much - think he finds the trees a little overwhelming anyway - so many of them! And often very quiet which also spooks him sometimes. But the roaring in the trees this week has had him worried, and willing to go home quicker than usual. Will get used to it. We are so lucky to live here where we can go somewhere different every afternoon . He did try and tempt the cat to play one evening, though Kitz not too sure what to make of it.! Hoping to make it to the Show on May 5th.
