P@H sell it, no its not particularly expensive. Our last dog was fed on it all his life as he had a dodgy tum, no extras added in and he lived a very happy healthy 14 yrs.

My local pet shop orders in Wafcol greyhound maintenance for me. I am charged £13.95 for a 15kg bag.
All of mine love it, I add a tablespoon of sunflower oil and sometimes a bit of chicken mince and a couple of times a week a tin of oily fish.
I found the guidance on amounts to be way out (too much), but have adjusted that now and their weight is under control again.

No offence intended to anyone - but Wagg is a dreadful food. It's more suitable for rabbits than it is for dogs. It is mostly cereal and fillers. Have a look at the ingredients of Wagg - dogs aren't supposed to be fed on mostly cereal. My personaly opinion of this food is that dogs would become hyperactive, and will also produce huge amounts of soft poo !
Wagg Complete Original Beef & Veg Dog Food contains Wheat, Meat Meal, Wheatfeed, Maize, Oils & Fats, Linseed, Beet Pulp, Peas, Lucerne,Vitamins and Minerals. Added Citrus, Yeast and Yucca. With Antioxidant: EC additive.
Burgess, Wafcol, even Skinners, are way better foods - James Wellbeloved also another good one. Rice is a much better filler than wheat, wheatfeed, maize and beet pulp. Wagg is cheap because it's made with cheap ingredients.

I'm afraid the reality is that the more you pay, the better the quality of the content! We sell dog food and I have done considerable research into the matter .... buy the best possible food you can afford. James Wellbeloved is expensive, but first class - if you have 1 or 2 hounds, a sack will last a month or more.

Well all mine are happy and healthy on Wagg and its suited all the foster dogs that have come through. The only two that dont have Wagg is Scarlett and Rodney as they cant tolerate meat well so are on fish4dogs.
Wagg is the only food that has suited the other six simlutaneously and they love it. My dogs are all im happy in good nick. Nothing else ive fed has suited them like Wagg and there has always been someone turn their nose up at it.
When Duchess landed Hula told us she would not touch complete and they were right she wouldnt touch any until we tried Wagg and now eats it happily ;D

The wafcol seems to be suiting them just fine. They wolf it down and everything seems to be ok the other end too! Their coats are much shinier now and their behaviour seems back to normal too so i think we'll probably stick with it. I find it quite reassuring that its greyhound specific. Thanks for all the advice xx

[glow=red,2,300]Hi, We fed ours on bakers at first but then decided the protein was too high for them and changed to super greyhound. The kibble was a bit small and seemed a bit uninteresting as I want them to have to get those teeth chomping a bit ! For the last couple of years they have been on a local pet store working dog food which is 19% protein with sardines in tomato sauce - they LOVE it! [/glow] ;D
