* sob * *wail* Well *swallow* The time has come after the all clear for little Runtys leg to start to look for a Foster home (together) for the two littlest pointies who have been resident in my kitchen for the last 8 weeks. Seems really weird to move them on but hey they cant live in my kitchen for ever and are going to grow Runty and Little Peaches were the smallest and weakest out of the litter but a couple of weeks one on one has done them the world of good and both are now eating well and their weight is on par with the rest of the litter. They are crate trained and in the day I tend to leave them the crate open and allow them in and out and they use the kitchen as their domain. When awake I go in and spend time with them. They settle and sleep well ALL night believe it or not but hey they are greyhounds and after breakfast in the morning have half an hour to an hour playing then settle down making it easy to get on with other stuff. Sooo if anyone *Sob* wants my babies to come and reside with them for a few weeks till they are ready for homes let me know. They wont wee or poo in the crate now and will go outside if you take them straight away after a meal or when they wake up. Preferably as near to myself as I dont want them making mammoth journeys to foster situation at this age

No Shellie the five other already off to foster homes were the ones I could have seriously throttled they were big strapping boinging puppies Hence the two littlests are the ones who were alot quieter and need a bit more putting into them so are much easier going than the others ;D I seriously AM going to be gutted to see them go and if they would stay at this size for ever I would quite happily keep them both ;D At the vets last night Mr Runt Man was sooooo cool calm and collected and sat like Lord and Master of all he surveyed. Whilst little Peaches in proper greyhound fashion panted like a staffi for the whole time we were there bless her. They are beautiful and have the most sound temprements ive known on any hound.

Hi Lisa, Lynne did our homecheck last week to become fosterers, so we could foster these two. However, I work part-time 9.- 3.30 Mon-Thurs, but do come home for lunch. We also have 4 cats. Not sure if this situation is ideal, but if we can help then let me know. We are in Leics, probably about an hour from you, we used to take our kids (now too old!) to Waterworld in Stoke sometimes!

Hiya Brenda thank you very much, I think though the littlests will need someone around pretty much all of the time at the moment which is a shame really because you have a lovely foster place on offer. We do leave them but for only around 2 hours once or twice a week because of letting them out to toilet etc at the moment. Believe me as soon as we have a suitable foster hound I will have it at yours like a shot and thank you xxx ;D

I have the space and time and willingness!! hehe. Home all days except ten minute school run in the morning. Other sensible poochies to help with training and general behavior. Not too far away, bout an hours drive. Dog sensible kids to help with play times too. Not had a GG homecheck but have a foster from LL. Would love to help.

Hiya Rachel with the situation with their being an LL dog currently in we wouldnt want to put the babies in no offence to the LL dog but we dont know what other dogs that havent been in home environments within the rescue for a while are harbouring and these arnt fully jabbed yet.
