This is Baloo ..... Baloo came into our care late last week after having been surrendered by his owners due to work commitments. As we dont currently have a foster space going he is in our holding kennels. Baloo is fully vaccinated and needs to be castrated and microchipped which of course will be paid for by Greyhound Gap I have also wormed him and de flead him. He is said to be fully housetrained and was an only dog so use to being left, he gets on well with other dogs but is a little keen on leash, no lunging but is very alert to what is around him. He has had a run off leash today in an enclosed riding school with a couple of mine and a small dog and did want to chase but wasnt nasty and was safe as muzzled. Baloo is a very food motivated dog and is really jumpy if he thinks something is on offer but I noticed today that his poo was absolutly full of worms so the poor lad is going to be very hungry at the moment but thankfully they are all passing through him now so his appetite may decrease soon. Baloo is a lovely cuddly boy and ideally we want him back into a home environment for fuller assessment asap. He is currently in Stoke on Trent. He may have a couple of scent marking accidents at first being entire but we aim to castrate asap to eliminate this problem.

If only he were a girl I'd have my hand up so high in the air you could see it from the back of class! He's a stunning dog - gotta love those blue ones!

Well Baloo is meant to be going to Liz but after going into kennels and receiving the kennel cough jab you guessed it he has Kennel cough So we can only pressume had already been exposed to it. He now needs to stay in the kennels quarantened for a while longer so will be going to Liz asap once he is clear.
