There are two 19mnth old greyhound males who are due pts on Friday this week if help cannot be found They are currently in the Chesterfield area but transport is not a problem. We have two more to collect this weekend so cannot take these ones in. Ideally we need help from another rescue willing to take on these boys asap. If anyone rescues can help please contact me directly Lisa on 01782 544728 or email greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk

Nope no news whatsoever, ive spoken to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary today and they are packed to the rafters. Sarah is going to have a chat with the staff tomorrow to see if there is anyway they can do a shuffle to get them in and have been excellent as they always are. However, no other rescue places are forth coming at the moment so things are looking more than slightly grim. I cant even find a boarding kennels in the area at the moment who can take them temporarily

I have cross posted to Hound Aid to see if any offers of help can come from there ( I hope thats o.k ).
Could someone foster a dog or 2 to make room for these boys?

Claire Gap dont use kennels so all our dogs are *already* in foster homes so its not like we can even free up any space I dont have a solution yet but rest assured I will find one Its one of those we have so many *possible* options but non guaranteed so we just need to keep on top of the situation to see if any become realitly. At worst I have a back up plan that is formulating in my mind BUT that is at the very worst case scenario but should by them more time

Anna and Sue are on their way over to see these two babies now, fingers crossed if all is well they have a rescue place on offer at Thornberry and should be safe there this evening. Thank you everyone and a massive thanks once again to the Thornberry kennel girls who have surpassed themselves once again ;D
