Here's an update re China...now answering to Winnie Whippet (hope you don't mind!). She is very happy and being very good. She gets on very well with Lucy Lurcher, is eating well, walking well on the lead, is excellent in the house, and mad in the garden!! Still not letting her off the lead outside as she is too good at the "stopping just out of reach and then dashing off just as you approach" game! But she does come in when called in from the garden so hopefully we get there before too long! Looking stately in the sunshine Lounging in the sun with her mate Lucy Pinching Lucy's chair...Lucy can only fit her backside into Winnie's bed! With her big "brother" Synchronised bone chewing!

Oh how did I miss this when it was first posted? I can only blame it on my PC being out of action for some time. It's lovely to see Winnie Whippet looking as beautiful as ever, and Lucy is just as gorgeous as I remember her from the day you visited to collect Winnie (China). ;D ;D Please give them both a hug from me, and tell little madam it's about time she learned to walk in a ladylike fashion as befits her looks. I see she's got big 'brother' just where she wants him as well.

I will pass on your kind messages! Here are some more photos but she is asleep in all of them - she runs too fast for me to capture her on camera when she's out!! We are working on the "ladylike walking" but have only reached "tomboy" so far! We let her off the lead for the first time out of the garden today and she did come back very well - we have now discovered some treats that she will actually stop running for! Asleep on a princess duvet (not hers!) Snuggled up with the cat (he has regained his top cat position) Still putting Lucy in her place, altho Lucy has now worked out how to fit into Winnie's bed... Both on the "human's" sofa..., Noggin the Nog (cat) in the background keeping an eye out

what truly lovely pictures of gorgeous gorgeous girlies ;D Winnie is adorable and how stunning is Lucy lurcher (I think I see a saluki nose there). I laughed seeing Lucy squished in Winnie's bed and awww at snuggling up to the cat........don't think that'll happen here.

Winnie has her first birthday this week. Can't believe we have only had her four months. She now goes off lead and her recall is better than Lucy's (apart from this morning when I only had 5 minutes to get my daughter to school...). She's a star. If all goes well tomorrow we are looking forward to meeting a new friend soon...Flash... In the snow the other week Spot the tail Warming up by the fire
