just thought that I'd give you all a quick update in the run up to Christmas Ive been very busy helping Julie with all the hard work of buying pressie and wrapping, Ive met Santa twice now. (when he popped around to pick them up and for a quick cup of tea and a low fat biscuit) on both occasions i had my head stuck in the Christmas tree looking for my pressie (didn't find it though) ;D i was a little disappointed when i opened up auntie Karen's to find a wok (she is a human though) Ive also got hold of someone else's not sure who's, as i ate the label before anyone could stop me (but Christmas is about surprises) heres wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year love Austin

What a fabulous picture of you Austin ;D You've got to be patient now and wait until Monday for your pressies (and leave everybody else's alone) I hope you have a very Happy Christmas and continue to entertain us with your antics in 2007 ;D ;D

Congratulations Austin on managing to train your new family so well, you have put so much work into settling them down and bringing them down to your way of thinking. I think you have passed with honours! One whole year eh wow!!! Sounds like things are wayyyy to quite in your house now, want me to send you an out of control female so that you can get her sorted too. Congratulations Julie and Paul for staying in one piece, even if your garden and stairs arnt. Thank you for sticking with and loving this lad you have done him and us proud.

just thought that I'd give you another quick update things are going from super to SUPER DUPER ;D I've not only got recall when there is not a soul in site ;D i also can do it with other mad dogs running around the same field ;D ;D ;D i admit Julie had to use the magic word CHEESE(but only once) I'm not sure who was more SHOCKED me or her especially as i was fast approaching that lurcher moment when your brain turns completely to MUSH ( you know what i mean when nothing and no one are to going to make you do anything and i mean anything ever again, well at least until the wires reconnect and that can take days) ive really enjoyed the snow and ive even been sledging with jessie we had a brilliant time running up and down and down and up the hills and having snow ball fights ( i think that i can honestly say this is my fav time of year) love austin (the greastest snowman builder in the midlands) ;D

haven't written in a while as Ive had very poorly paws Ive got repetitive paw injury it seems that as I'm the fastest dog in the world ;D and have no common sense. every time Julie and i head down the field i pull my paws we've tried warming up (the new DVD Julie had for Christmas comes in very handy) ;D but doesn't work (there's one for the gap auction) ;D Julie seems to have the idea if she slows me down that might help but I'm having none of that its took just over twelve months to train her to let me off the lead everyday I'm going to make the most of the time i get to run like a MAD lurcher it might have some thing to do with all the mud and the fact that i like to skid along the grass on as if I'm one of those TV personalties on ice although i think I'm might have been thrown out the first week for spending to much time on my back with my Paw's in the air (but then at least the paws don't swell) just off to swallow my anti inflammatory love Austin
