oh my god I'm having a ball this behaving myself is such good fun Ive spent the last few days in the garden trying to meet the neighbours and guess what Ive met the cat from next door, i think her names Tallulah (can't be to sure as she was running quite fast at the time) ;D ;D the other side isn't going quite as well as i got caught digging my way through but i did catch the chaps name HARRY, think i might ask him around for tea (may be even a BBQ he,s a sausage dog ) must remember to ask Julie to get some tomato sauce next time she goes to the shops ;D ;D ;D
harry has turned down the invite to the BBQ and Tallulah hasn't popped around for a chat either (can't think what i said) ;D Julie and i have taken the weather improvement to be a good sign and have spent many happy hours in the garden (i think Julies really pleased with all the help that Ive been ;D ;D) she keeps calling me Alan ) the hanging baskets have never looked this good before and we did them in record time too, ;D the lobella and busy Lizzie's are scattered all around the garden ( at about 10 miles an hour ) and the lawn doesn't need to be mowed for at least another six months ( theres no grass left);D love Austin (the keen gardener)
So glad to hear your still enjoying gardening Austin, our garden was really well ploughed thanks to you ;D I'm sure eventually the grass will re-grow, especially the day when Ruby helped you I'm sure when Julie came to see you here she said she did pottery have you helped her with that yet?
pottery what pottery? id love to throw a pot or two ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D asked Julie about it and she explained that there are two motorbikes in the workshop at the moment as grandad is still stopping with us but hes not going to be here for ever ;D so come the summer we'll be in the clay and stuff I'm still doing really well at the behaving myself bit and everyone is really pleased (honest) in fact Ive been helping Paul put some decking down (running away with nails and the hammer) ;D to cover up were id mowed the lawn can't wait until we stain it love Austin (DIY is my life) ;D
dear twiggys mum I'm afraid that you may have been misinformed. did twiggys foster mum not mention that we not only have all our jabs and bits and bobs taken care of, whilst with Grey hound gap we are also taught to read, use a computer, bat our big brown eyes when we step out of line and give as many loves and cuddles as possible in 24 hours that our new human families never ever, ever think about giving us away again, some of the really lucky ones even get their own sofa thrown in too. i got a big comfy bed (i really didn't want a sofa honest) give twiggy my love and tell her from me keep batting the big browns and she made it ;D love Austin
hi everyone well i had a FAB day yesterday at the greyhound gap dog show i made lots of new friends and met up with most of the old ones. It was wonderful to see sue and the family again ;D ;D willow wasn't quite as keen but she is a girl ;D we bought lots of new things including a new dog collar with go faster flames made by Anna (can't wait to show the chaps down the field they'll be greener than the grass ;D) i was really looking forward to the fancy dress comp ( i was going all moody and rebellious like the kids and going to dress up as a teenager) but we had to leave early after Paul, Jessie and i got a little silly playing and jess ended up with a very bruised arm and lots of blood every where (it was Paul's fault not mine, so hes in the dog house ) ;D ;D ;D so heres a pic of what you missed
I'm resting up today so hoping to stay out of trouble love Austin
It was fab to finally meet you in the flesh yesterday, you are so much more handsome than I thought and a little more bonkers too!!
Muppet wants to say hi too and congratualtes you on the best super duper anna collar as he has the exact same one too!! He says it makes you extra norty and extra loud and bouncy, just don't tell your mummy.....ooops Muppet being Muppet just has then.
My dog is a mathematical genius!! When I say to Muppet, "what is five minus two minus three?" He just looks at me and says..........nothing!!!

missfleur2003: Hello. I am new to this site and noticed that the posts for available dogs seem to be quite old. Some seem to be years old. Are the dogs shown still available.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x

dasherman: Hi, can anyone offer any suggestions as to why when it is sunny, my adopted ex racer is terrified to leave the house to eat or drink or anything for that matter? Seems to be obsessed by the sky?

kiri07: I have been concerned with my 7 year old greyhound losing hair on her thighs, but it looks like it is a normal thing. She's losing a little in a few other places too. I saw someone say something about vetzyme condition tablets? I also heard organic oat

steeveet: Hi there, just had our home inspection by a lovely lady with her Greyhound Arthur, who I could have happily snaffled as he was sweet and at home with our girl Belle. Does anyone here know how we now get to meet any of the dogs who need a home?
