::)been another good day, took Julie a nice long walk this morning (muzzle fitted) couldn't eat a thing! Julie was having a good old laugh at my expense I'm trying very hard to take this muzzle thing off and she says i look like I'm doing a bad tango got my own back, dragged her through a bush to remove it. it DIDN'T work ,but i felt better ;D and Julie looked nice with leaves in her hair ( wonder if the look will catch on) ;D looks like the rehabs on hold thank goodness i'm also learning that julie likes to play fetch with a tennis ball although i'm better at it ;D love Austin ( the good)
another good day went for a long walk with julie down the fields again this morning but we tried something different. Julie took my lead OFF. We both stood there not quite sure what was going to happen. then i noticed her rattling around in her pocket which was full of treats and my favorite ball. we played fetch for ages until i took the ball over to see if the rabbits wanted to play they didn't Ive not seen Julie move that fast before i thought she was going down after it but the rabbits wouldn't let us have it back we had to go home after that Julie was covered in mud (can't take her anywhere ;D slept all afternoon so couldn't be Bad ;D love Austin
Hello Austin, glad you are behaving a bit better. Shame you had to drop your ball down a rabbit hole So glad you went off lead and actually came back Anyway, keep up the good work lad, I'm sure when your brain kicks in you will be a fabulous boy. You have all the potential needed ;D
not going so well today went down the fields with Julie again played fetch for ages which was great then i decided to change the game to tig which didn't work so well (well not for Julie anyway) ;D it took her an hour, a lot of treats, hiding in hedges and the help of a nice elderly gent and his wonder dog Charlie to recapture me ;D ;D ;D ;D (Julie knows a lot of VERY RUDE words ) she kept saying them all the way home. I don't think I'm going to get off the lead for a while theirs a large bottle of wine waiting for after tea but i don't think I'll bother, think i might just keep my head down for a few days. love Austin
::)well i tried to keep my head down and be good(honest) ;D but i just had to try this nice new after shave (DEAD RABBIT) i was quite impressed with the fragrance ;D but Julie wasn't i had to have a Bath it wasn't quite as bad as it sounds and i did get to help Julie wash all the walls and floors through the house ;D ;D ;D so I'm back in the good books (NOT) todays not been too bad went for a walk avoided the aftershave (don't want another bath) and Julie let me OFF the lead for about 5 Min's playing fetch. also did a little more gardening dug a nice big hole to say HELLO to the neighbour's but Julie filled it back in (have to try again when shes not looking ;D ;D ;D love Austin ( the trying to be GOOD)

Austin, you seem to be making quite a lot of extra work for Julie ....... what with washing the house down after your experiment with aftershave and having to fill in all the darned holes you dug - why don't you give her a break and behave really well for a whole week ;D ;D
Oh my God!! I hope this comes put in book format, I'm still chuckling now and can't wait for the next installment lol... or even maybe dvd.. maybe I've seen too much wallace and gromit lol.. It's so nice to know that Austin is settling in well.. I remember when my much missed forever friend was settling in, she was so reluctant to leave my side, we rechristened her Loctite for a few weeks...... ;D This is my first post so I apologise for any mistakes, and my 'puters mouse has issues, so we tend to type like a bat out of hell in case it starts zooming off at 100 miles an hour lol... Oops.. tried to send it and it said the name you are attempting to use is already registered to another member of this forum... doh... maybe i'm signed out?
To Gap! Off you toddle to Introductions then now to have more fun and games with the mouse I spoke to Julie at the weekend and it seems like Austin is settling down in the house but the outside activities are escalating ;D He is such a clown

hi everyone just thought i give you a bit of an update: operation "MEET THE NEIGHBOURS" isn't going to plan sneaked out last night pretending i needed a WEE ;D and started the digging. had to move the old cat kennel out the way ( put me head and shoulder's inside and basically ran around the garden with it stuck on me head which sort of attracted a little attention ;D when that had died down tried to return to digging but it started to rain (BIG ORANGE BUCKETS FULL) I think I'll have to try and rent coldits or one of those other old war films from the DVD shop to do some research. ;D ;D ;D ;D love austin (TRYING TO BE GOOD HONEST)

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x
