A huge thanks to Richard for allowing us to use pictures of Tippy, and for agreeing to be our judge I’m sure he’ll be consulting Tippy, and I expect Tippy could be open to bribes of the ‘chicken’ kind Entry fees are payable via personal cheque or postal orders made to “Greyhound Gap” and should be sent to: Ali Packham Glenvue, 2 Lewes Road Horsted Keynes West Sussex RH17 7DP I’ll collect all cheques and send them off in a bundle to Angela (treasurer) when all entry money has been received. We are able to accept Paypal but you will need to add an extra 50p to cover the costs and let me know that you are paying entry fees this way. There is bound to be a photograph competition with a summery theme next time

Photo Three...
Tippy didn't know how the paparazzi found out about his plastic surgery, but he was determined not to be photographed until the swelling had gone down!

After his trip to the Australian outback, Tippy did some animal impressions for those not lucky enough to accompany him: Pic 1: "....kangaroos are so funny, they go like this!"Pic: 2 "Aligators are scary and they look like this..."Pic 3: "....but the Koalas were really cute.....look Dad, I can do proper Koala ears!"

During his recent interview on the South Bark Show, Tippy spoke warmly of his love of the arts and of artists;
(photo one) re-enacting his acclaimed role as the "sugar bone fairy"
(photo two) a short aria from the little-known "Dogly Cart " prouction "Send in the Sausages"
(photo three) But sadly refused piont-blunt to reveal more about his mysterious love-life

Photo One It is soooo hard to run in a dignified fashion when your ears, tongue and tail insist on doing their own thing.
Photo Two Tippy takes a huge deep breath, hoping to suck all treats within a mile radius into his waiting choppers.
Photo Three If exposed to flashes of bright light Tippy had a tendancy to turn into a strange gremlin-like creature and so he has become well practised at avoiding such flashes by clever paw manoeuvres.

Entries for the hugely successful ( ) caption competition has now closed (18th July) with the final payment date drawing ever nearer – Wed 21st July. Can those of you have entered, please let me know if you have already paid by Paypal as no cheques have landed on my doormat There are a couple of photograph competitions in the pipeline, so hopefully that will drum up more interest than captions (captions are always so hard!). The first photo competition will be one with a Summer theme and held towards the end of August. Be sure to get snapping your hounds through the summer months
