 lost greyhound croydon surrey
« Thread Started on Aug 12, 2008, 4:31pm »

Lilly, a young and very timid greyhound, was lost late yesterday evening (11th August) whilst out for her last walk. We are desperate to find her, especially as she was in an area unfamiliar to her, and a long way from our kennels in Hersham Surrey. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Denise and all at Hersham Hounds.

OMG - just saw this through Chris' post on HL. You know our situation - we can't help right now, but as soon as we get back...

Lily has been sighted today between 10.45am & 11am running through Selsdon High Street, and she was running towards Gravel Hill and New Addington.

No more sightings since.

Her lead is still attached.

Please please look out for her, she must be very hungry and tired now.

We think she may be hiding, or at least using an area called the Plantation inbetween Church Road and Seldon Road. She has been sighted there on a couple of occasions during last week. But as of today (Sunday) there have been no sightings of her at all. There has been a lot of good will from the locals and dog walkers so fingers and paws crossed someone will see her soon. Is there anything more miserable than spending hours and hours of searching with hope and sausages then going home without the lost hound, knowing she's still out there somewhere?! :(
