An elderly lady (88 yrs) , who is a dear friend, is passionate about knitting.

I was telling her about the fundraising we are doing and she said she would like to knit some hound coats for our auction.

Good idea?....She's very keen and quite excited.

What do you think?

Ooh yes! Finn and Sofi both have knitted coats, though Finn's keeps coming unravelled at the front so I keep sewing it up, soon there will be only stitches to sew on top of other stitches. ;)

my hounds like their jumpers from k9 knitters, but they only have one each, and will need spares for when those are in the wash. I would deffo bid on some. Also, would she consider knitting 'on commission'? i saw some gorgeous wool at absolute bargain basement prices on the abakhan website that would look ace on Lance and Esme! ;D
