Never done this before, so please bear with me Was thinking of trying to get the bandstand in Whitby (or area near information centre) one day during the six weeks holidays. At the moment have roped in my friend, and it would be great if anyone else could join us (if I can get it) But how do I go about, getting collection buckets ect? am more than willing to print of leaflets to give out, if anyone can send them to me. Also if I can get enough prizes, I will do a tombola, as I know they go down really well in this area, and entice people over to talk ;D Right am off to contact my friend, who can tell me where to apply for permission for the bandstand

Hi, I could probably also help out depending on the date, in the very least you are very welcome to borrow my collecting buckets Thanks Am awaiting a reply from the harbour master at the moment, think I will be doing a tombola. As to collect I would have to apply for a licence, and I am not sure how to do that yet Best be off to do some research about that then (or ask my friend who does know )

I think it might come under Scarborough Borough Council.. I've had a look on their website and if you click on 'S' snd scroll down to Street Collection Permit, it has the info you'll need!.. good luck!
